—About Global Relay
Evaluate the effectiveness of your surveillance activities, gain insights into reviewer productivity, and demonstrate compliance to the regulator, with six reports available on demand.
Measuring and reporting surveillance effectiveness is crucial for regulatory compliance and risk management. Regulators expect firms to prove they are successfully monitoring the required users across all necessary channels, helping to avoid fines and enforcement actions.
Regular reporting identifies gaps, uncovers blind spots, and ensures your team operates efficiently by tracking key metrics, such as the volume of messages reviewed, and the time taken to review. Determine whether your team needs additional training on the review and escalation process, or if your workflows and policies need to be adjusted for optimized performance.
The Reviewer Activity Report tracks the volume of messages attributed to and reviewed by each of your reviewers over a chosen period, allowing you to measure and manage team capacity accordingly.
With the option to view a daily review count, insights can be gathered into how users distribute their workload across the week. The report also determines how frequently a user relies on bulk review – prompting further investigation and highlighting whether more reviewers are needed on the team.
The report provides insights into whether reviewers are escalating messages too frequently, overlooking certain ones, or selectively reviewing content – suggesting where further training may be required.
Use the Proof of Review report to demonstrate that your organization is actively reviewing messages that were flagged for review. The report provides an oversight of message status, such as flagged, pending, reviewed, escalated, closed, or completed.
Ensure flagged messages are reviewed within an acceptable timeframe and identify cases that exceed your organization’s ideal time limit. Problematic cases or those at risk of delay can be recognized, allowing you to take remedial action and avoid potential regulatory risk.
With the Supervised Users Report, you can demonstrate that you are actively monitoring all necessary users in line with regulations and as stated in your documented procedures.
Assess the effectiveness of your policies and highlight those that need refining with the Policy Coverage Report.
Use the report to measure whether flagged messages are distributed evenly among cases – if one policy is generating a significant number of flags, it may require adjustment.
Gain insight into which keywords are triggering the most policy hits and where the highest number of false positives occur to prioritize adjustments for improved accuracy. Identifying keywords that aren’t generating alerts allows you to remove or refine them for better results.
In addition to reporting on the effectiveness of your surveillance strategy for any given period, you’ll have access to the Global Relay dashboard, where you’ll find a real-time graphical overview of your surveillance workflows and reviewer activity.
Visualize cases with too many or too few messages for review, highlighting potential issues that may need immediate attention. This enables you to take proactive steps and ensure team momentum is maintained.
